Aimee is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Madison in Communications. She began working at Dog's Best Friend, Ltd. as a Trainer in 1996, and in 1998 she was hired full-time as Training Director, running the Training Program.

Aimee and her American Eskimo Dog, Keanu spend many weekends a year traveling to compete in agility. Keanu earned his Masters Agility Championship (MACH) title on June 21, 2003 and his MACH2 in December, 2004. Keanu finished as the #1 AKC American Eskimo for the year 2003 and finished 15th overall at the AKC Agility National Championships in the 16" division in 2004. Aimee has taken many lessons and attended camps with some of the top agility handlers in the country.

In addition to Keanu, Aimee currently shares her home with her husband Mark, and two other American Eskimo Dogs. Sammy is a thirteen year old, but still the puppy of the family and Molly graces the cover of our Beginning Family Dog Training Book.
