Staff - Susan Michaud Ph.D. CPDT

Susan Michaud has been at Dog’s Best Friend since October 2000. Susan was on the board of the Humane Society in Lansing, Michigan, developed a Therapy Dog Program in Eau Claire, Wisconsin, currently volunteers at the Dane County Humane Society, and has attended a number of seminars and workshops on dog behavior. She has owned dogs all her life and currently shares her house with Grace, a Chow mix, Sydney, and Australian Shepherd and her husband Joel. Susan has an MSW from the University of Michigan and a Ph.D. in Social Welfare from Case Western Reserve University and is an Instructor and Grant Coordinator at the School of Social Work, UW-Madison.
